Business Central development, from one extension to a full upgrade
I work out what companies and Microsoft partners actually need on Dynamics 365 Business Central, design the solution, and build it. One senior person from the first call to production, on contract, in French or English. I work remotely and come on site for meetings and analysis.
Availability: taking on a new mandate now, from a few hours a week to full time. Eastern time.
What I do
- Analysis and solution design: I sit down with the people who do the work, find the real problem, and check what standard BC already does before writing any code.
- AL extensions: tables, pages, reports, events, permission sets, translations, tests. Clean code that passes the analyzers and that the next developer can maintain.
- Integrations: BC APIs and OData, custom API pages, HttpClient to external services, Power Pages and Dataverse, Power Automate, Azure Functions, EDI.
- Upgrades and migrations: NAV (C/AL) and GP to Business Central, data migration, moving customizations to extensions.
- Reports and documents: custom report layouts, Excel and Word layouts, Power BI on BC data.
- AI inside Business Central: assistants that answer questions on your data, with a model that can run locally so nothing leaves your walls.
